Stainless Steel Expanded Metal Mesh
Description
Product Description
Engineered for longevity and performance, our stainless steel expanded metal mesh provides a robust solution for filtration, security, and structural applications. Unlike welded wire, expanded metal is formed from a single sheet of metal, creating a continuous pattern that offers exceptional tensile strength and load-bearing capacity without the added weight of welding filler.
Material Grades & Quality
Most of our expanded stainless steel mesh is produced from grade 1.4301 (304), which offers an excellent balance of strength and corrosion resistance suitable for general-purpose and food-grade environments. For more demanding conditions, we supply alternative grades including 1.4401 (316) for high-chloride environments, 1.4016 (430) for cost-effective aesthetic uses, and high-temperature grades like 1.4541 (321) and 1.4845 (310) for extreme thermal stability.
Key Features
- Corrosion Resistance: Resists rust and oxidation in humid or chemical-laden environments.
- High Strength: Single-piece construction ensures superior structural integrity.
- Open Area: Allows for ventilation, drainage, and light transmission while maintaining barrier function.
- Hygienic: Smooth, non-porous surface is easy to clean and maintain.
Applications
Ideal for use in industrial sieves, architectural facades, safety guards, ventilation grilles, and decorative panels. The expanded design minimizes material waste and provides a sleek, modern aesthetic for both functional and visual projects.
